  • "Client," "You," "Your" : Refers to any individual or entity using our services.
  • "Services" :Refers to the interpreting services provided by One Step Lingual

However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Services
1. Service Provision :
  • We offer certified interpreting services in various languages for different sectors, including legal, medical, business, and public services.
  • Our services can be provided in-person or remotely, depending on the client's needs.
2. Service Requests :
  • Service requests must be submitted through our official communication channels (phone, email, or website).
  • Requests should include detailed information about the type of service required, language, location, and any specific requirements.
3. Service Confirmation :
  • Confirmation of service requests will be provided in writing via email.
  • We reserve the right to decline service requests based on availability or other factors.
Fees and Payment
1. Fee Structure :
  • Fees for our services are based on the type, duration, and complexity of the interpreting service required.
  • Additional charges may apply for travel, accommodation, or other expenses incurred during the provision of services.
2. Payment Terms :
  • Clients will be invoiced upon completion of the service or as agreed upon in the service confirmation.
  • Payments are due within 30 days of the invoice date, unless otherwise agreed.
3. Late Payments :
  • Late payments may incur interest charges as permitted by law.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate services for clients with outstanding invoices.
Cancellation and Refunds
1. Cancellation by Client :
  • Cancellations must be made in writing (via email) at least 48 hours before the scheduled service time.
  • Cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance may incur a cancellation fee.
2. Cancellation by Company :
  • We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule services due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, clients will be notified as soon as possible, and any fees paid will be refunded or credited towards future services.
Confidentiality
1. Confidential Information :
  • We recognize the importance of confidentiality and are committed to protecting the privacy of all client information.
  • Our interpreters are bound by strict confidentiality agreements and will not disclose any information obtained during the course of their work.
2. Data Protection :
  • We comply with all relevant data protection regulations, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Liability
1. Service Accuracy :
  • While we strive to provide accurate and reliable interpreting services, we do not guarantee the completeness or accuracy of interpretations.
  • We are not liable for any direct or indirect damages resulting from the use of our services.
2. Force Majeure :
  • We are not liable for any failure or delay in performing our services due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of war, or government restrictions.
Amendments
1. Changes to Terms :
  • We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website and will take effect immediately upon posting.
  • Clients are encouraged to review the Terms and Conditions periodically to stay informed of any updates.
Governing Law
1. Jurisdiction :
  • These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom.
  • Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom.
